Hey, I'm Steve
WHERE I COME FROM
I’ve been a lifelong resident of McHenry County, growing up in McHenry. I married my high school sweetheart, Nicole, and we've celebrated 27 wonderful years together. When we had our first child, we realized we needed more space to grow our family.
At first, when our realtor suggested we look in Hebron, we had no idea where it was. We were told it was a small village near the Wisconsin state line with a population of around 1,200. But when we visited, we immediately fell in love with the small-town charm. It's a place where neighbors genuinely help each other, and everyone knows your name. Now, after nearly 25 years in Hebron, we have three adult daughters and a home filled with memories.
My Vision For Hebron
My administration will focus on making Hebron a place where everyone feels heard, respected, and valued. We are a community that thrives when we work together, and I will ensure that your voice is always part of the conversation. My approach is based on:

Community Engagement: I will ensure that every resident has a seat at the table through open forums, surveys, and a new Community Advisory Team. Your input matters and will guide decision-making.

Infrastructure and Economic Growth: My 100-day plan will focus on improving our infrastructure and revitalizing the retail business district to attract new businesses and support local entrepreneurs.

Government Transparency: My administration will prioritize transparency in every decision we make. I will regularly communicate updates and seek feedback to ensure we are moving in the right direction together.

My mission is to restore trust in local government by ensuring transparency, integrity, and accountability in every decision made. As the Village President, I will work tirelessly to eliminate political corruption, put the needs of our community first, and create an environment where every resident feels heard, valued, and respected.
